Student Ministry Missions Acts 1:8
Jesus clearly tells His disciples and us His expectations for missions.
We are to spread this Gospel message (be my witnesses) to the place we
currently live (Jerusalem), the state we live in (Judea), the country we
live in (Samaria), and to the rest of the world (ends of the earth).
Our
7 year mission strategy for student ministry is based around this
idea. For a Biblical and balanced student mission strategy I believe
each student should engage in each level of missions found in Acts 1:8.
The
levels of mission experiences are age appropriate and increasing in
difficulty. A great way to explain the different levels are through
the levels found in the White Water Levels.

OUR JUDEA MISSION EXPERIENCE LEVEL 2 As
a student in Concord's Student Ministry I believe each 6th, 7th, and
8th, grader should
be actively serving through a mission experience right here in our own state. This experience should be increasingly challenging for their
age. The 8th graders lead this mission experience. It is more
challenging than the LEVEL 1 mission experience in the travel,
accommodations, and mission tasks.
However, these students are able to accomplish more than you would think. They are ready to be challenged to serve others in ways that they are able physically, socially, and intellectually.
These students are at a tender time where that are asking the questions, How can God use me, Am I able to serve God right now? Many decisions for ministry and missions happens at this age which sets the tone throughout their lives. I don't want any middle school student to miss these tender development moments with God.
